About Us
Bunker Hill General Baptist Church has been a steadfast pillar of faith, hope, and community in Vincennes, Indiana. Our mission is simple: to love God, love our neighbors, and share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with Knox County and beyond.
We are a multigenerational church family. This means you will find people of all ages here, from infants to seniors, all growing together. We believe that church shouldn't be complicated or intimidating. When you walk through our doors, you are family.

We know that visiting a new church can feel a bit intimidating if you don't know what to expect. At Bunker Hill General Baptist Church, we want you to feel right at home from the moment you walk through our doors. Here are the answers to a few common questions:
What should I wear?
Come as you are! There is no dress code at Bunker Hill. You will see some people wearing their "Sunday best" suits or dresses, while others wear comfortable jeans, t-shirts, and casual shirts. We care much more about you being here than what you are wearing, so please dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable.
What is the music and worship like?
Our Sunday Morning Worship at 10:30 AM is designed to help everyone focus on God. We appreciate the deep roots of our faith and primarily sing traditional, meaningful hymns together, occasionally blending in classic gospel songs. Our music is focused on praise, community singing, and preparing our hearts for the message.
What happens during a service?
A typical Sunday morning service lasts about an hour. We spend time singing together, praying as a church family, and listening to a practical, encouraging message from God's Word delivered by Pastor Scott Soderling. We will never publicly put you on the spot, make you stand up, or pressure you to give.
