Pastor Scott Soderling has a deep love for God, His Word, and the people He has called him to serve. I’ve been blessed to spend many years in pastoral ministry, and in 2024 God opened the door for me to become the Senior Pastor of Bunker Hill General Baptist Church. I don’t take that calling lightly. Every Sunday, I’m reminded that standing behind the pulpit isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about faithfully pointing people to the One who does. 

One of Pastor Scott’s greatest joys is seeing people grow in their faith and watching God use ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. He believes that no matter where someone has been, God is not finished writing their story.

Scott is married to his wife, Amber, and they have two sons, Jordan and Jonathan. Outside of ministry, Scott enjoys spending time with family, Golifing (although he plays cart golf more), and enjoying the simple things of life. He also has a particular appreciation for the beach, Chic-Fil-A and good times with friends.

Above all, Pastor Scott is thankful for the privilege of serving the Lord and the people of Bunker Hill General Baptist Church. His heart for this church can be summed up simply:
